About this trainer

At Happy Beak, we believe there is no such thing as a "bad" parrot—only scared, frustrated, or confused birds. Applying an evidence-based, positive reinforcement methodology, we work with all parrot species, from small conures and cockatiels to large macaws and cockatoos. Our training focuses on clear communication, trust-building, and resolving core behavioural issues—including severe biting, screaming, plucking, handling fears, and flight anxiety—so parrots and their guardians can live together comfortably and happily as true family members. Parrots don't belong in cages—they belong in your life.

How I train

When I work with birds, I measure success by real-world transformation, not session length. Every interaction must be a step forward that moves the needle toward positive, visible change. I truly believe birds want to be "good boys and good girls" – it is simply our responsibility to show them how. Through choice and positive reinforcement, birds succeed, and their true personalities shine; their self-esteem and confidence grow. They develop a genuine respect for their human family because they were given the guidance, patience, and chance to become their absolute best selves.

5 years working with birds.
